Mappy 河合真⼈ 第2回写真展
タッセルホテルでは1階ラウンジにてMappy氏の第2回 写真展「幻景 GENKEI」を8月17日まで開催。
今回は写真印刷の古典技法・コロタイプによる作品を展示いたします。

Mappy Kawai 2nd Photo Exhibition
Tassel Hotel will hold Mappy’s 2nd Photo Exhibition “Genskei GENKEI” at the 1st floor lounge until August 17
This time Mappy will show his works using collotype, a classic technique of photo printing.
The tone of the photographs, as deep as ink and as soft as blotting, quietly reflect the presence of the night and the folds of memory.

Mappy 河合真⼈（Mahito kawai）
1976 年 京都市⽣まれ知恩寺塔頭寺院瑞林院住職。
寺に⽣まれ将来を僧侶と決められ学⽣時代は争うように⾳楽・絵画にのめり込む。
僧侶として修⾏する中で世間のイメージとの差に悩みヨガを学びヨガスートラやバガバッ
トギータに出会い⼼の快適を知る。
その快適を共有できる空間として瑞林院を解放し、ヨガ・絵画展・写真展を展開する中で
⾃⾝もカメラを持ち⼼の内側を表現している。
